Forgiveness & Freedom

Forgiveness is all about our freedom, freedom from resentment, bitterness, anger and negativity. Forgiveness frees up our mind and opens it to the new experiences of today, as opposed to dwelling in the past. We are living in very difficult times, stressed out people often behave badly and it is so easy to take offense. It is so easy to feel victimized, abused, violated, insulted or injured by the insensitive behavior of others, but if we allow ourselves to dwell in the realm of injustice we become bitter and consumed with our resentments, we must learn to let go, and forgive them, “for they know not what they do”. They like us are trapped and enslaved in a world filled with frustrated wants, desires, expectations and ambition. They to are enslaved by their egoic, selfish, self-centered, worldly mind. They to are full of fear, and blinded by self-centeredness they cannot see how their behavior affects others. There is no point in being angry and resentful towards them, they are suffering enough already and the more angry and resentful we become the more we become like them. We must learn to let go and rise up in consciousness to a more elevated compassionate state of being. We must not let ourselves become entangled in the realm of injustice and insensitivity. “Be in the world but be not of the world”, rise up, let go, “accept the world as it is, not as you would have it be”. “Do not judge”, “do not resist evil” or you empower it and give it dominion over you.
You were sent into this world to overcome the world, not to be enslaved and consumed by it. How can you overcome the world when you are consumed by your frustrated expectations, wants and desires. If you truly want to experience, joy, peace, freedom and harmony you must detach from all of your worldly desires, especially the desire for revenge, that so often masquerades as the desire for justice. You must transcend the rat race, the dog eat dog, greed driven, egocentric world of man. You must rise up out of the realm of the ego and enter into the realm of the Spirit. You must learn to be still, and experience the inner presence of Love, joy, peace and contentment, but you will never have this sacred experience as long as you are attached to worldly affairs and concerns. There is the realm of the ego, that Fritz Kunkel called the Devil and there is the realm of the Spirit, you must choose where you want to dwell.
Your emotional state sets the tone for your worldly experience, it becomes the filter through which you see life. If you are full of anger and resentment that becomes the lens of your life and your experience becomes one of frustration and difficulty, and you become evermore frustrated and confused, you wonder why life is so hard, life is always hard when you live life from an egoic perspective, but you are not your ego, and you are not your mind, you truly are a Spiritual being who has become enslaved by their ego. Disempower your ego, learn to ignore its ramblings and choose to think higher thoughts, thoughts of understanding, empathy and compassion, for that is the essence of Love and you are Love, created by Love for Love. Let go of all worldly desires, all attachments, wants, desires, expectations and ambitions, for they bind you to this material realm, they bind you to a life of suffering and they rob you of Love, Joy, Peace and Harmony.
Jesus said “the Kingdom Of Heaven is within you”, and it is, I promise you, it is there. I spend several hours a day their, in the inner realm, and it is Heavenly, all that you seek in the material realm is already there within you, that is why you seek it in the world, sub-consciously you know you have lost it and so you are looking for it, but you are seeking in the world for that which is within. The material realm is the realm of the ego, full of injustice, let go, rise up in consciousness and discover the world within.
Close your eyes, be still, let go, look and listen, it’s that easy.
