And God told Adam and Eve
“You must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”
But overcome by temptation they partook of the forbidden fruit and immediately they looked down and seeing their nakedness, they identified with the flesh and sacrificed their Spirit, they felt ashamed and covered up their bodies so as not to be seen and hid from God.
Judgement had entered into Paradise and Paradise was lost, for the first fruits of judgement was shame, and shame produced the feeling of separation one from another and from God. Feelings of shame and separation always produce feelings of loneliness and feelings vulnerability ensue. Feeling alone and vulnerable we are afraid and fear entered into the realm of man. And fear produces all want and desire, the source of all evil. And from that day to this man has identified with the flesh and its mortality.
Yeshua said resist not evil, for evil only exists in the mortal rational mind of man. Evil was born of man’s judgements, his partaking of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and the very first thing they judged was their own flesh, and they covered themselves with fig leaves, and full of shame they hid from God.
Yeshua said thou shalt not judge, and yet every day we are consumed with judgement, fueling our evil desires that lead to death. And all desire is evil, even desiring God is evil for it comes from the false sense of Separation, which we now know comes from the judgement tree. Yeshua said want not for your indwelling father knows what you need, and that all things, even apparent evil works for the good of those that love God. Buddha said desire is the root of all suffering, and suffering is the appearance of evil.
It is our judgements and resistance to that which we judge as evil that separates us from God’s Indwelling Kingdom, anchors us in our mortal flesh and consumes us with fear. All desire and all suffering is born of this fear of the mortality of the flesh, and our identification with it our flesh.
Adam and Eve lived in Paradise as long as they identified with their Spirit, but as soon as they identified with the flesh, Paradise was lost, and the appearance of evil entered into the realm of man and consumed him. Yeshua knew that evil was an illusion born of the rational mind of man, a mind separated from the Mind of God, while in reality the Spirit within us cannot ever be separated from the Mind of God. Every crises faced by man is a Spiritual crises that can only be truly solved by re-identification with our Spirit and abandonment of the the flesh. The carnal mind is enmity with God, and man’s wisdom is pure foolishness with God. Resist not evil, but trust in the truth and the truth shall set you free of all fear and desire. To live in the Spirit, to be free of all judgements, attachments, fear and desire, returns us to Paradise. We must choose to live in the Kingdom Of God within us or in the external world of man, with all of its suffering and death.
